The Brick House

This residence, located within Boa Vista Estates in Porto Feliz, adopts a language of contemporary classical architecture, structured around compositional rigor, tectonic clarity, and controlled proportion. The project is organized through an axial and symmetrical parti, articulated in a two-storey longitudinal volume, with façades defined by a regular rhythm of openings, pronounced cornices, and a clear formal hierarchy. The vertical planes are defined by dark handmade clay brick (architectural facing brick), whose artisanal texture lends depth and material density to the composition. Lighter-toned elements such as moldings, pilasters, and friezes operate as formal articulation devices, reinforcing the three-dimensional reading of the elevations. Colonnades, deep verandas, and covered galleries structure the transition between interior and exterior, forming a sequence of intermediate spaces that enhance use and environmental comfort. The integration of vegetation into the architecture, together with the precise design of the external spaces, consolidates a residence of timeless character, where order, permanence, and spatial refinement define the experience of the project.
