Four decades shaping time. Always current, always a masterpiece in the making.
From Mirassol to the world.
'50 - '60s
Born in Mirassol, a small town in the countryside of São Paulo, Sig Bergamin always had a keen eye for color and detail. As a boy, he was already having fun decorating his own bedroom. At 14, he took on the challenge of decorating the town club for the Carnival ball—an experience that ultimately revealed his professional calling.
An Eye for Wonder, From the Start.
'70s
Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from FAUS in Santos, he built a strong foundation for the plural perspective he would later develop. From the outset, he combined academic discipline with boundless curiosity, absorbing references and styles without preconceptions, guided by a singular creative restlessness.
From The Gallery to the World.
'80s
His turning point came in his early twenties, when he designed the legendary nightclub The Gallery. With a bold aesthetic, he transformed São Paulo high society’s hotspot into a showcase of his talent. Sig entered the sophisticated circuit, attracting discerning clients in Brazil and abroad, and beginning to build his reputation as a creator of singular atmospheres.
A Boundless Repertoire.
’90s
India, Africa, Europe, the Americas… Sig has made the world his greatest archive. He has traveled to India more than twenty times, immersing himself in its richness in search of new colors, textures, and symbols. Each journey became a field study, expanding a perspective that never stops learning. That curiosity remains the driving force behind his creative work.
Global- Scale Maximalism.
2000s
In the 2000s, Sig Bergamin’s signature maximalism crossed borders. He established a base in New York and brought his blend of art, color, and tropical references to projects in Miami, Paris, and Punta del Este. His exuberant aesthetic appeared on the covers of leading design magazines and placed him among the most influential names in global luxury architecture and décor.
Today, we celebrate not only what has been built, but all that is still to come. This is the ever-evolving legacy of Sig Bergamin, where patterns are never rigid templates, but sparks for creative rupture. Here, past and future meet in full harmony, side by side with Murilo Lomas, his partner in life and in projects, and to the playful rhythm of Índia and the sweetness of the youngest, Roma. Because true luxury is keeping a legacy alive and vibrant, reinventing it at every step… and that, my friends, is the magic still being written on the pages of the future.
