Vibrant Antique Home

As Pablo Picasso once said, “Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions,” and in this home that idea becomes method. Sig Bergamin and Murilo Lomas shape an interior where color, pattern, and art structure the experience, edited with precision between classical references and a contemporary sensibility of strong presence. In the dining room, a decorative panel sets a distinctly Portuguese atmosphere. The Lisboa wallpaper by Pierre Frey evokes traditional azulejos, creating a blue-and-white skin that organizes the space, amplifies light, and frames furniture and objects with clarity. The staircase turns circulation into a gallery. Mirrors, wrought ironwork, and the vertical volume guide the eye, anchored by a work by Philippe Decrauzat that calibrates rhythm and perspective. In the main living room, the collection unfolds with intelligence, alternating intensity and pause. Works by Sarah Morris, Daniel Buren, Beatriz Milhazes and Luiz Zerbini, among others, build a narrative that feels both international and deeply connected to Brazilian culture. In the study, the Tiger Mountain velvet sofa by Dedar brings character. Above it, Picasso’s Harlequin Musician sets the axis of the room and reinforces the project’s tone, modernism as a foundation and color as structure.
